Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

A woman with long dark hair and fair skin, smiling and sitting on a tan leather chair against a gray wall. She is wearing a dark jacket and white pants, with her left hand resting on her chin and her right arm crossed over her lap. A tall, gold-colored floor lamp with three cylindrical, fabric lampshades stands behind her to her right.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I specialize in working with pediatrics ages 6 years and older, adolescents, and adults up to 65 years old facing challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

My approach is grounded in building a therapeutic relationship and to provide evidence-based care to optimize your wellness and quality of life. My goal is to help each client improve their mental health, build healthy coping skills, and feel more confident and enjoy their daily life.

I understand that starting mental health care can feel overwhelming. Southern Oaks Wellness is a safe and supportive place where my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported during your mental health journey. I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health as often the two are intertwined. Whether you or your child are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood changes, attention concerns, behavior challenges, stress, or other emotional difficulties, I am here to help.
